Speaking Of Unemployment And The Economy . . .

Of course, the numbers are grim. But just as grim is the economic message we need to take away from the latest information on the state of the economy, a message that puts the lie to the claim that the $787 billion stimulus package passed earlier this year is having any real, positive effect on the economy thus far:

Democrats Turning Against The President

Maybe Barack Obama’s upcoming speech to Congress will take care of this problem, but it appears that Congressional Democrats are turning against the President on the issue of health care reform, given the fact that the White House has rather completely botched what was once thought to be a winning legislative and general political issue for the Democratic party:
