Health Care Reform Follies

Jonathan Cohn appears to be upset that the political establishment has skipped the crucial step of figuring out how to pay for health care reform, before actually working to enact reforms in the first place. I completely sympathize. It’s like putting on one’s shoes before putting on one’s socks. How very annoying!

American Conservatives Shouldn’t Learn From David Cameron

American conservatives can learn from David Cameron and their Tory brethren: they can learn by not following his lead. They shouldn’t just wait for their opponents to make a god-awful mess of things, holding out hope for the evil of two lessers. Instead, the American center-right should spend the next few years focused on new applications and solutions for the country, so that if they once again regain a majority in Washington, they’ll actually know what to do with it.
