Stevens Officially Off the Hook

Former Senator Ted Stevens officially had his case dismissed by a federal judge this morning.

That was one of the cries that rallied the port side of politics to the battlements during the Bush Administration. The apotheosis of Barack Obama was supposed to stop Justice Department “politicization” and restore the rule of law to its rightful place.

Holder Puts a Hold on Stevens Case

Attorney General Eric Holder has asked a federal judge to drop all charges against former US Senator Ted Stevens of Alaska.
