Detailed here. Essentially, Kurtz is placing himself in a bad position by taking money from CNN for his Reliable Sources program, despite the fact that Kurtz is paid by the Washington Post to cover the media . . . which would include CNN, of course.
It isn’t often when I agree with Media Matters–indeed, I cannot recall a time when I did agree with them concerning anything of consequence–but they are right on this deal. Either Kurtz should stop doing his program, or he should stop getting paid for it.
