According to CBS’ Mark Knoller, yesterday President Obama played his 24th round of golf since becoming President. That ties the amount of golf that President George W. Bush played… in TWO YEARS AND TEN MONTHS.
Did we elect him to run two wars and right the economic ship or to play away like a king with no worries what his silly peasants may be worrying about? Every time President Bush played golf, went to his ranch or otherwise took a temporary break from the White House, we heard about it non-stop in the press as they complained that he was shirking his duties.
I’m still waiting for that same outcry about our Golfer in Chief.
