ACORN Sues Kids Who Caught Them on Video

by Brad Jackson

ACORN has gone where Democrats tend to go when they can’t win fair and square – to court. The liberal activists organization caught in a long string of recent scandals is suing James O’Keefe, Hannah Giles, and Andrew Breitbart in a “multimillion-dollar lawsuit” for “damages”. They are suing on behalf of the two Maryland employees, Tonja Thompson and Shera Williams, who, according to the suit, “suffered ‘extreme emotional distress.’” They were also fired for the wrongdoing caught on tape, but I’m sure that’s immaterial in ACORN’s lawsuit.

ACORN’s lawsuit contends, “the audio portion of the video was obtained illegally because Maryland requires two-party consent to create sound recordings.” Let’s ignore the fact that their employees were caught advocating how to evade federal income taxes to two people posing as a pimp and prostitute.

Hopefully a wealthy conservative donor can help these kids pay for their defense. ACORN is really looking for a guilty verdict after all, they just want to drown these poor kids in debt, dig up every bit of dirt (real or imagined) and drag their names through the mud in front of the national media, which was reluctant to cover the ACORN scandal, but will no doubt provide wall-to-wall coverage of the lawsuit and all the press conferences ACORN holds to try and destroy the reputations of these film makers.
