Wasted Opportunity? You Betcha.

Ezra Klein interviewed Henry Waxman about the latter’s new book. Not one question went to the details and possible consequences of Waxman-Markey. I don’t even think a question was asked at the point that Klein says the battery life went out of his recorder.

If the Washington Post has turned into a vehicle for the glorification of Democratic politicians, I suppose that I should not be upset by the reports of its impending demise.

UPDATE: The next time Klein gets an interview with Waxman, perhaps he might want to ask why dissent is no longer considered the highest form of patriotism. Incidentally, if a Republican chairman of a powerful committee suggested that to oppose George W. Bush was to root against America, that comment would have been all over the news, with condemnations swift to follow. Fortunately, on the Waxman comment, McQ, Dan Riehl, and Ed Morrissey are on the case.
