Very well said. Cadet Xin, you are an outstanding example of why America needs future leaders such as yourself. Congratulations on voicing such a powerful statement as to why we need to keep "the long gray line" marching!

Best of luck in your future endeavors!

Michael J Bounds
Vietnam Vet
1972

Well spoken. The current anti-tradition sentiment in politics today is the result of a subtle invasion of Postmodernism in the predispositions of our thinking. We had an anti-traditional sentiment in my day. It is a normal late-adolescent response in an attempt to individuate, often blind of the logic embedded in such tradition. This Postmodern anti-traditionalism is a trai wreck between Nihilism and Existentialism. It is nonsensical as a statement. By definition, it will self-implode to demonstrate that futility "is". West Point stands as the antithesis of this pseudointellectualism.
