Daniel Drezner throws down the gauntlet. My response to his two challenges is as follows:
1. Walking in the street, seemingly oblivious to traffic at times, either reading or typing out e-mail on one’s BlackBerry.
2. This behavior is the result of what I would call “techypnosis.”
