Why is the Treasury Secretary going off-script when it comes to the issue of the dollar as the world’s reserve currency? The President rejected China’s proposal to use special drawing rights (SDRs) as a way of diminishing the dollar’s role as the reserve currency. Did Tim Geithner simply fail to watch the press conference?
What is the matter with this lot? Are they only on top of their respective games when there is a campaign afoot? Why can’t they be equally adept at governing?
